While my optimistic tendency is to believe that Star Fox Zero and Zelda‘s delays are both so they can be launch titles for a new Nintendo console next year, that’s unlikely, as whatever they’re working on will probably have a 2017 release date. Plus, they specifically said Star Fox Zero was delayed to Spring 2016. This means the unfortunate reality is that what was already a barren 2015 holiday season will be even moreso now. But hey, at least there’s Rise of the Tomb Raider, right?
Yup, they’re bringing back the transformation mechanic from the never-released Star Fox 2 for the newest entry. Perhaps the best thing in this trailer is that the character portraits still just wobble up and down when they’re talking.
Oh, also, it’s apparently being worked on by Platinum. So that’s cool.
