N.P.P.D. RUSH is a retro-styled bullethell game developed by Rail Slave Games, and is currently .99 cents on Steam. That is maybe, at most, what you should pay for this hot pile.
Normally I wouldn’t talk at length about a mod, but Black Mesa has been a mod that has been in the back of my mind for a few weeks now, so I figured it was the perfect time to talk about it.
Once thought as vaporware, Black Mesa has finally seen the light of day, a remake of Half Life. Although without the Xen levels, though strangely enough I haven’t heard anyone complaining about that omission.
The Walking Dead is a game based on a t.v show where people cry and the t.v show is based off the comic book of the same name. I haven’t read the comic but I saw one season of the t.v show and there was a lot of crying, but in a twist of fate the part of the show I saw wasn’t that bad (!) Can the video game live up to the impossible standard of “pretty much okay?” Let’s find out!

I’ve always gotten this band confused with Rise Against. For some reason Rage Against The Machine never fell into my confusion though, and I’m curious as to why. Microsoft has learned a lot in the past year, and done well to actually turn their image around. They’ve changed their stance on DRM, removed the Kinect to help lower the cost of buying an Xbox One, and they dedicated the full 90 minutes of their media briefing to games and only games. There’s a stark difference between the Microsoft of today and a year ago.
It’s about time Trent released a new album, after all these Oscar winning soundtracks and How to Destroy Angels records it’s about time he sat down to write a new album consisting of the sonic landscapes and the percussive assault we’ve come to expect from Nine Inch Nails. Ever since The Downward Spiral this one man project has been notorious for their post-industrial madness and oftentimes hilarious yet always endearing angst, let’s see what Trent has re-emerged with.
